Marlene Frances Doyle Saginaw, Michigan Marlene passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan, after a long battle with cancer, with her children by her side. She was 70 years old. Marlene Frances Williamson was born on November 12, 1947 in Sandusky, MI to the late Clarence and Georgina (Kirkbride) Williamson.

She was a proud 1965 graduate of Sandusky High School. Marlene married John “Butch” Doyle on August 10, 1968; he survives her. Marlene was loved by many.

She always knew how to put a smile on someone’s face. You could see her rhinestone purse from a mile away (and anyone who did would most definitely compliment her on it). She enjoyed hunting and collecting antiques.

Most of all she loved visiting the casino, both in Mt. Pleasant and in Las Vegas. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are a daughter; Michele and Jeff Gorenflo of Grand Blanc; a son; Shaun Doyle and Krista Trevino of Saginaw; six grandchildren, Sydnie Painter, Trace Painter, Zane Trevino, Kyle Trevino, Jordan Trevino, Ashlyn Doyle-Trevino; two great-grandchildren, Easton Cornford and Kace Trevino; two brothers, John (Sharon) Williamson of St. Johns, Roger (Linda) Williamson of Sandusky; a sister-in-law, Carol Williamson of Alaska; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members; special friends, Jean Burk and the late Wayne Burk of Saginaw and Rubin Carter of Saginaw; and two beautiful (huge) cats, Heyyou and Bucko. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Georgina (Kirkbride) Williamson; as well as a sister, Frances Williamson; and beloved brother, Bradley Williamson. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Leanne Balcueva for the care she provided for Marlene.

Memorial Services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
