Obituary for Barbara Gaye “Happy” Grice Barbara Gaye “Happy” Grice, age 73, born on March 5, 1945, passed away on December 13, 2018, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Mrs. Grice worked for NECO prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and loved playing Bingo.

She was a very loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira W. Stringer and Lorraine Anderson Stringer; and three brothers, Billy Ray Stringer, Ira Stringer, Jr., and Don Stringer. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, her son, Cody Grice (Doreen) and daughter, Carla Logan (James) all of Stringer; sisters, Ruby Faye Pope of Braxton, Teresa Sherman (Gary) of Stringer, and Judy Smith (James) of Stringer; grandchildren, Casey Logan and Will Grice; her special pet, “Little Man”; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Sunday, December 16th from 12:30 p.m. until the service time of 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Stanley Doggett will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Stringer, Jimmy Stringer, Casey Logan, Jamie Stringer, Bruce Gable, and Tuddy Spradley. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason McCraw, James Logan, and Sonny Spradley. To sign the online guest book, visit www.
