Obituary for Barbara J. Hampton Barbara Janet Hampton, age 72, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born April 29, 1946 in Dallas, TX to Hardy and Benetta (Minning) Storms. Barb was a talented hairstylist, and owned and operated Techniques Hair Salon in Concord, CA.

She had also worked at St. Helena Hospital in Anquin, CA, and moved to the Muskegon area in 2009. Barb is survived by 4 children: Jana Maxwell of Clearlake, CA, Jeana Maxwell of Hesperia, MI, Janetta (Mike) Maxwell-Dixon of Muskegon, MI, and Jerry Maxwell, Jr. of Muskegon Heights, MI; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Hardy (Ann) Storms, Jr. of Fulsom, CA, Sonny (Elizabeth) Storms of Sacramento, CA; sister, Alta (Brad) Neil of Chico, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held for Barb.
