OBITUARY Barbara J. Hartman June 10, 1943 – November 11, 2018 Play Tribute Movie BARBARA J HARTMAN, loving mother, sister, wife, and friend passed Nov 11th, 75 years young. Viewing at 1pm Nov 15 at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Memorial service at 2pm; followed by graveside.

Survived by her loving husband Ralph and sons Travis and Rhett Hartman, and her brother Gary Walker. Barbara was known for so many things. She was a wife, a mother, a sister and a thoughtful, caring friend.

She practically kept Hallmark in business by sending cards and letters out across the country to her friends, family and former neighbors for any milestone in life. Or sometimes just to check in. It was this attention to others that was her personal hallmark and also made her a wonderful wife and loving mother.

She was known to put her full effort into any endeavor, from her duties as the president of the pep club in high school, to her clerical work before and after college, as well as her painting hobby that turned into a small business. Her ability to focus the attention of her two young children on activities while her husband was away on assignment is another example, though that may have been more an effort to keep the chaos as bay. She will be missed for the light that she brought into any room.

Her enthusiasm for life was as bright as her laughter. Barbara’s light may have dimmed but we all still feel the warmth from it.
