Obituary for Glenn A. Haynes Glenn Adelbert Haynes passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born on May 18, 1935, in Sacramento, CA. Glenn interrupted his college career by enlisting in the Army Air Force where he served as a medic during the Korean conflict.

Upon his return, he went to work as a sales representative of x-ray equipment for Westinghouse Electric and later became a district manager for Thomson CGR Medical Corporation. Upon his retirement, Glenn became an antique dealer, traveling with his wife to numerous shops across the United States and often taking grandchildren on trips to visit the wonders of the country he loved. He worked as a consultant for Weight Watchers, served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and was a volunteer at KU Medical Offices.

Predeceased by his daughter Kristen, he is survived by his wife of thirty six years, Betty Barnett, son, David Haynes, stepsons Tom and Andrew Barnett, stepdaughter Lynn Barnett, four grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. As a man who cared deeply for others less fortunate, Glenn will be sorely missed by all. There will be a private internment followed by a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 18, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Betty’s home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayside Waifs, or a charity of your choice. Upcoming Events Celebration of Life NOV 18. 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at home of Betty Barnett.
