Betty Ann Moore was born on April 12, 1950 in Parkdale, Arkansas to Minnie Lee Moore and Willie Norman Sr., both parents precede her in death. At the young age of fourteen, Betty moved away from home and was taken in by Luceal Turner Gant, who quickly became her mother figure and raised her as her own. Luceal’s loving home became a of support as Betty became permanently engrained into the Gant family.

Luceal, who Betty fondly called her beloved mother also precedes her in death. Betty had 29 siblings (15) precede her in death. Rosie Lee Simmons, Susie McGee, Catherine Tolbert, Charles Jean Tolbert, Vera Norman, Luberta Martin, Leola Rowe, Frank Brown, Eddie Tolbert, Easel Norman, Seasel Norman, Willie Norman, Oja Lee Norman, Artis Jones, and Arthur Williams.

Betty is also preceded in death by her daughter Sophia Gant. Betty Moore met John Gant as a teenager; Betty and John had six beautiful children. Betty Moore gave her life to Christ at a young age; she joined Life Changers Christian Center in 2008 and continued to worship there until her passing.

Betty Moore leaves to cherish her precious memory five children; Debra Ann Evans, Jeanette Gant-Martin (Paul), Jessie Moore, Sylvia Moore, all of Olathe, Ks and John Gant Jr. of Eudora, Arkansas. Fourteen siblings Mary Moore of Kansa City, Mo, Virginia Moore of Bastrop, Louisiana, Mary Gant Boone, Elise Gant Spencer, Pleasant Cone James (Jesse), all of Eudora, Arkansas, Betty Gant Hiller (Oho) of St. Paul Minnesota, Jimmy Norman, Lewis Norman, James Norman, Darnell Norman all of Gary, Indiana, Elisha Gant of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tommy Simmons of California, Robert Gant and Wesley Cone of Eudora, Arkansas. Betty also leaves twenty-two Grandchildren, twenty-eight Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Life Changers Christian Center 6420 Raytown Trafficway, Raytown, MO. Visitation 11:00 A.M. Interment in Longview Memorial Garden Cemetery.
