Barbara J. Knight, age 67, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Sunday October 14, 2018. Mrs. Knight was born on May 24, 1951 in Douglas, Georgia the daughter of the late Isom Jewell and Oneda Phillips Jewell. She was a homemaker and a member of Broxton Church of God.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Knight. Survivors include son, Stephen Knight (wife Kandi) of Broxton, GA; daughter, Maggie Winters (husband Clint) of Broxton, GA; step-daughter, Tracey Roberson (husband Tony) of Broxton, GA; four grandchildren, Kaylee Sears, Jordan Knight, Emily Winters and Peyton Winters; two step-grandchildren, Trey Roberson and Taylor Lanier; four great grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Tempa Knight of Broxton, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at 11:00am at Broxton Church of God with Rev.

Milton Pate and Rev. David Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Creek Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jordan Knight, Wesley Sears, Anthony Smith, Stanley Williams, Padien Lanier, Jagger Levens and Peyton Winters. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 9:00pm at Sims Funeral Home. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.
