Barbara J. Witzler, AGE 76, of Luckey, OH passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born July 7, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Robert P. and Catherine M. (Spellacy) Scanlon. On June 5, 1965 she married Frederick J. Witzler in Toledo.

Barb was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, where she served on many committees and with multiple groups over the years. She was very proud to be a grandmother as her grandchildren brought her much happiness. Barbara is survived by her daughter; Suzanne (Todd) Wax of Luckey, son; Timothy Witzler of Holland, daughter-in-law; Johnelle Witzler of Holland, grandsons; Jacob Thornton of Portage, Jared Thornton of Luckey, Coy Witzler of Holland, step-granddaughter; Katie Harlow of Oak Harbor, step-great-grandchildren; John and Sofia, brother; Michael Scanlon, sisters; Patricia Scanlon, Carol Palermo, Paula (Gary) Lake and Joan Scanlon.

In addition to her husband; Fred, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert F. Scanlon. Per the family’s wishes Barbara, will be laid to rest in a private committal service in Troy Township Cemetery, in Luckey. Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home in Luckey, has been entrusted with her care.
