Barbara J. McCullough, age 77, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 after a lingering illness. She was born November 30, 1941 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late Algie & Eleanor (Harback) McEndree. Barbara was a 1959 graduate of Ashtabula High School.

She married Lawrence “Larry” L. McCullough on March 26, 1994 at Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church in Ashtabula. Barbara was a retired school secretary from the Buckeye Local Schools. She also had many years of banking experience and was a member of the national service/social sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

She will be dearly remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Barbara was very devoted to her family and loved to cook, bake and entertain. She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Randy (Lisa) Jackson & Lori (John) Avsec; grandchildren, R. J. Jackson, Jennie Avsec, Drew (Brianne) Avsec & Jacob Avsec and great-grandson, Levi Rantamaki, who she loved very much.

Barb is also survived by step-children, Bret (Karla) McCullough, Bart (Karen Landsman) McCullough, Greg (Kari) McCullough, Tammy (Michael) Peri & Mark (Teri) McCullough; step-grandchildren, Brock (Hannah), Bionca, Breonna, Jake, Leah, Natalia & Andrea McCullough, Jennifer Gedeon and Sara & Alex Peri; brother, Algie (Linda) McEndree; many nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Bill (Betty) Harback. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson with the Rev. Mark Mong of Trinity Presbyterian Church officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Kidney Foundation, 2831 Prospect Ave. East, Cleveland, OH 44115. The Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory and staff, Jefferson, Ashtabula & Geneva is privileged to serve the Barbara McCullough family.
