OBITUARY Barbara Lee DiDomizio October 24, 1930 – December 29, 2018 DiDomizio, Barbara Lee (Reschke) Our beautiful Mother slipped away early Saturday morning, December 29, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Our Mother was the center of our family and we miss her very much, but we know she and our Dad are together again and enjoying a few laps around the roller skating rink! Born in Highland Park, Michigan on October 24, 1930, Barbara’s mother passed when she was only three years old, and she was raised by her maternal grandparents in Michigan until the family moved to Burbank in 1946.

Following high school she worked at the phone company before meeting Vincent J, her young, handsome Navy sailor at a roller skating rink in Burbank. They married and moved to the Port Hueneme Naval Base, and later purchased their home in Oxnard. Our Mother was a very strong and independent woman that raised seven children, many years by herself while our Dad was on deployment.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Joseph, in May 2013, parents Norman and Gladys Reschke and brother Mike. She is survived by seven children: Carol Greene, Nancy Gray, Linda Myers, Donald (Lucy), Ronald (Cindi), Rose Elaine and Vincent B., 11 grandchildren: Don, Chris, Brian, Megan, Eric, Jason, Ryan, Bryana, Daniel, Ashley and Brittany, and nine great grandchildren: Jonathan, Isabella, Deklan, Brayden, Morgan, Gavin, Jaden, Easton and Vivian. Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd.

, Oxnard on Monday, January 7, with visitation at 10 a.m., memorial service at 11:00 and burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Cemetery, Ventura.
