Obituary for Barbara Nan Wilks Barbara Nan Wilks, age 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018, at Baylor, Scott &White Hospital in Grapevine, Texas. She was born October 13, 1948, in Urbana, Illinois, to Charles and Lily (Garst) Clay. She married Terry Lee Wilks in November 1973 on Chanute Air Force Base.

While Barbara worked in account management at Radio Shack, AST, and Medtronics, she lived her life through the simple pleasures; her family, her friends and her church. Barbara had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. All who knew her knew that in a time of need both Barbara’s arms and heart would be open.

Barbara enjoyed travelling and traveled to both Italy and Alaska to be with her family. Barbara is survived by her sons Michael (Amy) and Richard (Heather), her step children Rhonda and Kenneth, her brother Robert Clay, her grandchildren; Heather, Amber, Chris, Chase, Whitney, Sabrina, Samantha, Maizy, Brenden, Kaitlyn, Aiden, Madison, River, Jackson and Sebastiano, and her eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry and her brother, George.

Family, Friends and others whose lives Barbara touched are invited to a Celebration of Life, at Methodist Grace Evangelical Church in Fort Worth, at 3pm on September 7th, 2018. Immediately following the service will be a dessert reception to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. A graveside service laying Barbara to final rest at Mt.
