Barbara Ruth Hamilton Coggins, 80, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Hector, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2019. She was born June 4, 1938 in Scott, Arkansas to Oscar and Elsie Hamilton. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Shults (Wayne) and Deborah Chaffin (Michael); grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Chaffin (Valerie), John Floyd Stafford, April Michelle Ball (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Kelin, Madison, Haylee, Melodee, Gabby, Skylar and Brooklyn; sister, Linda Charles (Richard); brothers-in-law, Bill Hyatt, Dennis Coggins (Rosetta), James Richard Coggins (Jo Ann), and Ray Coggins; sister-in-law, Annette Hopper (Austin) and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl F. Coggins; siblings, Howard Hamilton (Lorene), W.J. Hamilton (Evelyn), Frances King (Edward), Katherine Hyatt and Martha Hall (Glen); and her granddaughter, Amanda Anne Stafford. Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Ste. 2000, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.

Funeral service with Brother Donny White presiding, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to service at 1:00p.m. Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park.
