Obituary for Beatrice “Bea” J. Blackhall Beatrice “Bea” J. Curran-Blackhall, 92, of North Fond du Lac, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on January 29, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Eugene F. and Elsie E. Rasske Curran. She married Floyd Soyk in 1946 and together they had seven children.

On March 5, 1970 she married John C. Blackhall. He preceded her in death in 2002. Bea enjoyed gambling, crafts with her husband while living in Redgranite, loved making afghans and playing bingo.

She loved spending time with her family and her dog Bella. She is survived by her seven children: Dick (Eileen) Soyk of Wautoma, Barry (Linda) Soyk of Berlin, Sharon (Tom) Scherg of Fond du Lac, Patricia (Jeff) Zoch of Fond du Lac, Cathy Gregor of Fond du Lac, Denise Miller of Fond du Lac and Cindy (Dale) Snortum of Fond du Lac; four step-children: Pete (Yesenia) Blackhall, Paul Blackhall, Patricia Blackhall and Pam Lenz; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Dawn Burkhardt and Elaine Waltz both of Fond du Lac. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Glen and Eugene, two grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
