Obituary for Robert M. Walters Robert M. Walters, 88, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at ManorCare. He was born on December 30, 1929, in Bismark, ND. He served in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.

On December 10, 1958, he married Geraldine Thurn at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2004. Bob was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75.

He worked as a desk clerk at the Retlaw Hotel and Kohls Food. He and his wife enjoyed biking and he loved plants. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his sister, Ona Stark.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11:00 a. m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, with Rev. Tom Meyer officiating.

Entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside services. Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory is serving the family, www.
