OBITUARY Benita Huerta Salazar March 21, 1930 – July 15, 2018 Benita Huerta Salazar born on March 21, 1930 in San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on July 15,2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Dominga Ortegon and Guadalupe Huerta. Benita is survived by her loving husband, of 63 years of marriage, Miguel R. Salazar, daughters Mary Jane Chavarria, Mary Ann Crisp, siblings; Joe Huerta, Trinidad Huerta, Lydia Puente, Antonia Rivera, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, July 23, 2018 at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am mass of resurrection at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church with Interment to follow San Fernando Cemetery II.

FAMILY Benita is survived by her loving husband, of 63 years of marriage, Miguel R. Salazar, daughters Mary Jane Chavarria, Mary Ann Crisp, siblings; Joe Huerta, Trinidad Huerta, Lydia Puente, Antonia Rivera, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Dominga Ortegon and Guadalupe Huerta. .
