Obituary for Benjamin B. King Benjamin B. King, age 83, of Columbus passed away at his residence on October 2, 2018. He was born July 10, 1935 to the late Francis and Edith King in Putnam Co., West Virginia. Ben served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War then worked many years in the construction field.

He loved playing guitar, and Johnny Cash was a favorite. Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; son, Steve and daughter, Kathy. Survived by sons, William B. King and Roger L. King; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Becky; many nieces and nephews, other family and dear friends.

Friends may call at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. 1346 S. High St. on Friday October 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Dennis Wolfe officiating. Interment at Fernwood Cemetery.
