Shade Mullins, 69, of Columbus, Ohio died September 26, 2018, at Mount Carmel West surrounded by family, after collapsing in his home September 23, 2018. Shade was born in Kentucky on August 14, 1949 to the late Chester and Cynthia Nobel Mullins. He is preceded in death by sisters- Nancy Flynn, Wanda Innis, and Georgia Adams.

Brothers- George Marshall, and Ed Mullins. He is survived by spouse Hilda, stepchildren Robin King, Jeremy (Katy) King, six grandchildren, brother- Herman Marshall, numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. Shade served in the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War.

He was awarded the Purple Heart medal among others during his 26 years of service.
