Mr. Benny Lee Shaw October 02, 1956 – January 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card GREENSBORO- Mr. Benny Lee Shaw, 62, of 1 Marithe Court, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Moses Cone Hospital. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Walter Raleigh Shaw and Retta Lee Neal Shaw, both deceased. In addition to his parents Benny was also preceded in death by four brothers, Azel, Elvin, Herman, and Wilbert Shaw; and one sister, Geraldine Shaw.

Benny is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Shaw of Burlington and LaTesha Conyers of Greensboro; two sisters, Barbara S. Robbins and Carrie Louise S. Shaw (Harold), both of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Asia Bowling, Roderick Conyers, Trinity Carson and Josiah Conyers; and a host of other relatives and friends. Benny’s funeral will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Alamance Funeral Service with Rev. Bobby Miles of Gant Town Baptist Church officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service in the chapel. Benny’s public viewing will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Shaw Family.
