Burlington – Sylvia Ellen Patterson Johnson, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Edgewood Place after several years of failing health. She was born on August 17, 1932 in Alamance County to the late Elmer Norman Patterson and Carleen Ruth Troxler Patterson and was the wife to the late W.L. “Wink” Johnson. Sylvia was a former elementary school teacher with the Alamance County School System.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening in her younger years. She was a member… of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a former AO Civitan member. The family will be having a private service at a later date.
