Odell “Terry” Waldron Jr., 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington, NC on December 22, 2018 surrounded by his children. He was born February 19, 1937 to Odell Terry Waldron and Ester Wray Waldron in Roanoke, Virginia. On November 3, 1960 Terry married his best friend Millie Ball Waldron.

Only failing heath kept him from playing in the Shamrock Parent/Child golf tournament every year. He had many fond memories of playing at the “Rock”, and it was there that he carded is first hole-in-one. He retired from General Electric after over 25 years of loyal service where he met the love of his life.

He then worked for SCI for 5 years. Millie and Terry celebrated a wonderful marriage for 58 years. They were inseparable and loved to spend time together traveling, fishing, and coming home to spend time with their grand babies and children.

Their favorite places to go together were New Bern, NC and Massanutten, VA, and anywhere where the fishing was good. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Millie, the love of his life, passed away 4 months before he did.

He left behind a legacy with his 3 children, Debbie Gossman, Rick Waldron (Sharon Waldron) and Linda Waldron Dale (Russell Dale). He has 6 grandchildren: Nick Gossman, Matthew Dale, Sydnie Dale, Jacob Dale, Noah Waldron, and Jordan Waldron. An intimate celebration of his life was held on December 29, 2018.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Alamance Caswell County.
