Ms. Barbara Doreathia Pettiford Daye March 16, 1959 – February 19, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card BURLINGTON- Ms. Barbara Doreathia Pettiford Daye, 59, of 1021 Alden Street, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:58pm while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Person County, North Carolina on March 16, 1959 to Floyd Pettiford and BeBarbara Ann Rogers Pettiford, both deceased and the former wife of Paul Edward Daye, who survives. In addition to her devoted ex-husband of the home, she is survived by her loving children, Edward Daye of Burlington; Jennifer Daye and Natesa Daye, both of the home and Theresa Richmond of Burlington; one brother, Robert Ira Pettiford (Sunshine) of White Castle, PA; three special friends, Pam, Trisha and Gloria; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Barbara’s homegoing service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Elon First Baptist Church with Rev. James Wilkes officiating. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Daye Family.
