Mr. June Haywood Moody October 08, 1945 – February 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card BURLINGTON- Mr. June Haywood Moody, 73, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 7:30 am at Hospice Home of Alamance. A native of Alamance County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Mr. Herman Jessie Moody and Mrs. Mildred Enoch Moody, who survives. In addition to his mother of the home, June is survived by three sisters, Anna Pearl Moody Woods (Deacon Richard) of Green Level, Gloria Jean Moody Kirby of Burlington and Cecethia Diane Moody of the home; a favorite cousin, James “Nae” Robinson of the home and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June’s homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Archie’s Grove United Church of Christ with Pastor Michael W. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church, and all other times at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Richard Woods, 2172 James Boswell Road.

His public viewing will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 1:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Moody Family. Online condolences can be made at alamancefuneralservice.org.
