Maxcine Kimber Rogers, 93 of 5031 Dailey Store Rd. passed away on February 2, 2019. She was the daughter of Clard Lee Kimber and Nannie Mae Richmond Kimber and the wife of John Henry Rogers, all deceased.

Long as her health allowed, she was a faithful member of Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church and attended as long as she could. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She was instrumental in raising her children of course as well as her grandchildren.

She loved to plant flowers and a garden. We will miss her kind words, quiet and loving personality. Survivors include: 6 children: Michael Rogers (Faye), David Rogers, LaVerne Rogers Corbett, Debra Rogers, Karen Rogers and Melissa Leath (Charles); 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; two siblings: C.L. Kimber and Bettie Kenion.

She was preceded in death by 2 children: John Hurlon Rogers and Lizzie Rogers Graves and two brothers: Carver Lee Kimber and Hue Davis Kimber.
