He was born in Guilford County to Willie Williamson and Geraldine Benton who survive. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Geraldine Benton and Willie Williamson both of Gibsonville, one sister: Rosemary Benton of Burlington, one niece: Victoria Benton of Burlington, two uncles: David Benton (Betty) of Greensboro and Leo Benton (Carolyn) of Gibsonville and a special friend Larisa Kone of Greensboro.
He was prceded in death by grandparents: Ruby Benton and Marion Benton. The family would like to express special thanks to FMC East Greensboro Kindey Center, Moses Cone Hospital and Nancy, Anita and Amanda Johnson and family.
