Jovonya was the daughter James W. Mangum, Sr. and Betty Jean Harvey, both deceased. “Vonya as she was affectionately known leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Kamari J. Murdock and Jaden A. Brooks both of Burlingrion; two daughters, Precious E. Brooks and Jaden A. Brooks both of Burlington; one brother, Jamarkus D. Mangum (Brittany) of Lancaster CA.

; three sisters, Bernadette K. Howell and Tedrick A. Harvey both of Burlington; Brittany Estes of Durham; and a host of other relatives, family and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at CityGate Church with Pastor Keith Stephens delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service with the family arriving at 1:30 pm and all other times at the home.

Jovonya’s public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the funeral home from 1-8:00 pm. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Mangum Family. Online condolences may be made at alamancefuneralservice.org.
