Burlington, NC was born on July 10, 1925, and was the daughter of the late John Pinnix and Jennie Bet Graves Pinnix. God saw fit to open up his heavenly arms and call his precious angel home on Friday, May 24, 2019. Daisy was a native of Caswell County, NC, where she farmed until retirement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, fishing, solving puzzles and knitting. She was a member of Jones Crossroad Missionary Baptist Church. A mother of 21 children, Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, William “Pap” Thomas Sellars, six sons, Lacy Sellars, Hoskins Sellars, Ed Sellars, Rev.

Roger Scott Sellars, William Thomas Sellars, Jr., and James Allen Sellars, one daughter Francis “Lilly May” Sellars Richmond, a set of twins that died soon after birth, four sisters, Addie Mae Sellars, Lillie Pinnix Sellars, Fannie Eva Pinnix Bigelow and Lizzie Pinnix Sellars, two brothers, Albert Pinnix and Junior Pinnix. Mrs. Sellars is survived by four sons, Joseph Pinnix, Larry Sellars (Eloise), Donnie Sellars (Norma) and Jerry Sellars, eight daughters, Ada Briggs (Joseph), Cora Sellars, Mary Terry, Diane Williamson (Jeffrey), Teresa Watlington (Curtis), Adell Graves (Monroe), Mozell Morrow and Pauline Sellars (David), one sister, Evelena Harris and a multitude of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will be accepting visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Teresa and Curtis Watlington of 7308 NC Hwy 62 N. Burlington, NC.

Blackwell’s Funeral home is handling the arrangements and there will be a viewing Friday, May 31st from 1:00pm – 9:00pm at Blackwell’s Funeral Home, 1292 Rauhut Street Burlington, NC. The funeral will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with the family arriving at 1:30 pm, at Jones Crossroad Missionary Baptist Church, 3651 Stoney Creek School Road Reidsville, NC 27320.
