Judy Hobbs McAdoo was born on March 4, 1954 to the late Charlie Hobbs and Catherine Hobbs in Stantonsburg, North Carolina. Judy entered eternal rest on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark, New Jersey.

She also attended Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. She was united in marriage on December 31, 1986 to Don A. McAdoo and to this union, one daughter was born, Kaylah McAdoo. Judy had a passion for shopping.

You could always find her in Marshalls and TJ Maxx. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Hobbs. Judy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Mr. Don A. McAdoo, her mother, Mrs. Catherine Hobbs, of Mebane NC; one daughter, Ms. Kaylah McAdoo of Columbia SC; two brothers, Mr. Douglas Lee Hobbs and Mr. Ronnie E. Hobbs, both of Mebane, NC; five aunts; two uncles; A special friend whom she considered her sister, Jacqueline Yourse and a host of other relatives and friends.
