Mrs. Treva Mae Baldwin Evans, age 75 of 2431 Melfield Dr. Haw River, NC transitioned on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Evans was born in Alamance County, NC on January 29, 1941 to Mr. Roosevelt Baldwin and Mrs. Catherine Marsh Baldwin (both deceased). Treva was the wife of Mr. Hassell McCoy Evans of the home.

She is survived by one daughter, Tonja Evans (Albert); three sons, Maurice C. Evans (Rita), Francois “Frankie” T. Evans and Travis M. Evans; one sister, Fayona Wilson; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by a son, Phil L. Evans, 1 grandchild and one brother Thomas T. Baldwin. She was a member of First Baptist Missionary Church, Graham, NC.

Treva was a graduate of Central High School class of 1962 and retired with 33 years of service from Culp Weaving, where she was the first African American Female to work there.
