Mrs. Catherine Gail Carroll Woods March 14, 1954 – May 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation MRS CATHERINE GAIL CARROLL WOODS BURLINGTON-Mrs. Catherine Gail Carroll Woods, 65, of 1335 Parker Street, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at her residence. Catherine was the daughter of John Freeman Carroll and Dora Lee Riddle Carroll, both deceased and the wife of James Edward “Jimmy” Woods, also deceased. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Lynn Carroll.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memories three sons, James Obie Wheeley, Jr. of Mebane; Michael Douglas Wheeley (Gidget Grant) of Graham; Johnathan Shane Wheeley (Natalie) of Gibsonville; one daughter, Lisa Dawn Wheeley Cannon (Tim) of Burlington; companion of 14 years, Michael Pulliam of Burlington; three sisters, Sharon Kaye Carroll Moize of Burlington; Robin Carroll Gaddy (James) of Gibsonville; Mary Carroll Bryant of Graham; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the Alamance Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. D. L. Perry officiating and Mark Mills delivering the words of comfort. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service and all other times at the home. Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Woods Family. Online condolences may be made at alamancefuneralservice.org.
