Eula Poteat September 08, 1935 – March 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Eula Poteat, 83, passed away on March 3, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery Alabama. She was born on September 8, 1935 to the late James Eugene Poole and Thelma Jacobs Poole in Caswell County. She married the late Nello Poteat and relocated to Alabama where she lived for over thirty years.

She enjoyed cooking , reading and watching T.V., (especially the Young and the Restless). She also enjoyed shopping. She loved her family and enjoyed talking on the telephone.

She leaves to cherish her memory one brother: Willie James Poole of Burlington, one sister: Carolyn Vanhook Poole of Burlington, a caretaker: Velma Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers: Bobby Poole, Ralph Poole and Clayton Poole and one sister: Sally Poole Smith.
