Mr. Robert Warren passed away on March 9, 2019 at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Ernest Baxton Warren and Ida Mebane Warren and the husband of Ethelene Graves Warren, all deceased. He was owner of Robert Warren Concrete Contractors.

He was a dedicated and faithful member of Union Chapel United Church of Christ. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and loved attending races. He was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan and loved to watch them play.

When his grandson enrolled at UNC, he quickly became a UNC Tarheel fan. He was a major supporter of and to his family and friends. He loved his family dearly, but held a special place within his heart for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his three daughters: Glenda Fowler Carter (Clif), Dessolene Warren Davis (Darius) and Toni Warren Miles (Shelton); 6 grandchildren, Dawn Davis, Kirstie Miles, Chelsea Carter, Dresden Davis, Derek Davis and Trey Miles and a brother James Warren (Barbara “Sue”). He was preceded in death by brothers: Algie Warren and Lucian Warren.
