OBITUARY Berdene Brown February 4, 1923 – November 18, 2018 Funeral services for Berdene C. Brown, 95 of Anniston will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 1:00pm at 1st Baptist Church of White Plains with Rev. Eric Snider and Rev. James Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Rabbittown Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday starting at 11:00am. Mrs. Brown passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter Mavis Anderson (Wendell), sons David Brown (Ann), and Tim Brown (Debbie), grandchildren Robbie Anderson (Jamie), Lora Smith (Philip), Melinda Raughton (Alan), Gregory Brown (Laura), Stephanie Lloyd (Kregg), Brad Brown (Collins), Matthew Brown (Jessica), great grandchildren Jacob Smith, Adam Smith, Justin Raughton, Kyle Raughton, Austin Anderson (Hillary), Garrett Anderson, Kaitlyn Brown, Chloe Brown, Annslee Shaddix, Sophia Gunter, Ethan Stearns, Lyric Brown, Aiden Lloyd, Lexie Lloyd, James Brown, great great grandchild Maddox Gatlin Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years James Elbert Brown, son James Elbert Brown Jr., sister Betty Davis and her parents John Lewis and Ada Brown. Pallbearers will be family.
Mrs. Brown was a lifetime member of 1st Baptist church of White Plains. She retired from White Plains School and was a homemaker. She was known as Mom to all her family.
A special thanks to Homehealth Care and Alacare Hospice, her caregivers Glenda Locklear, Nancy Dalizu, Peggy Parris, Nurse Alyson McGinnis and Dr. Hannah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 1st Baptist Church of White Plains building fund.
