Obituary for Ms. Bernadine Hurley Bernadine Frances Hurley Bernadine Hurley, 78, of Neptune City passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Joseph and Mary. Bernadine Hurley is preceded in death by her parents and longtime partner Harry Egan.

She was a dedicated employee of many years for Perkins Pancake House and NJ Natural Res and retired in November 2011. She was vivacious in life with a fun-loving spirit and devoted to all family endeavors. Whether supporting sports, dance, academic or recreational activities, she was your Number 1 fan.

She Possessed a contagious smile, an entertaining sense of humor, radiated joy and brightened up the world. She was the matriarch of the entire clan and taught the rich traditions of which we maintain to this very day. Our hearts will be warm and a smile will cross our faces when we think of all the wonderful memories we had with you.

Bernadine Hurley is survived by immediate family, sister Marlene and husband, Bill of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and brother Joseph of Wilkes-Barre, PA, children Donna and Tim of Neptune City, Tom and Linda of Costa Mesa, CA, Casey of Brick Township and Michael of Wall Township, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 6 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3-7pm on Tuesday, November 20th at Ely Funeral Home, Route 33, Neptune. Funeral services will be held at Monmouth Memorial Park, Route 33, Tinton Falls on November 21st at 10am.
