Bernard (Hutch) Hutchins, age 56 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Round Rock. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Five Hills Assembly of God Church in Copperas Cove, with Pastor Brian Cranfill officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date with military honors at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Hutch was born on April 5, 1962, in North Conway, New Hampshire, where he also grew up and graduated from Kennett High School in 1980. He immediately entered the US Army and served for four years, being honorably discharged in 1984 from Ft. Hood.

He married Doris Johnson on May 5, 1984, and they have resided in Copperas Cove most of their married lives. He worked for many years at United Rentals in Harker Heights as a mechanic. He was a member of Five Hills Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Smith Hutchins, Jr. and Jeannette Berry Hutchins.
