Bernice Marie (Perry) Gilliam, born March 1, 1927, passed away May 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Lonnie Gilliam, dear mother of the late Elizabeth Ann (Gilliam) Hacker, Debra Joyce (Gilliam) Lee, Linda Kay (Gilliam) Hansel, the late Larry David Gilliam, and Darrell Ray Gilliam, beloved grandmother of LaTosha Everitt, Loni Adkins, Ryan Gilliam, Brianna Gilliam, loving great-grandmother of Chance Thomas, Julian Sturgel, Sophia Gilliam, and dear sister of Geneva Peyton-Barker, Bobbie Murphy, Connie Brown, Bonnie Gamble, Nannie Peck, Harold Perry, Charles Perry, Ronnie Perry, J.D. Perry, Jimmy Perry, and the late Ernest Perry. Bernice enjoyed quilting, gardening, was a great cook, and being with family at family gatherings.

The family of Bernice will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home – Mason (400 Reading Rd. , Mason, OH 45040) on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 12 Noon with a funeral service to follow beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow immediately after at South Lebanon Cemetery.
