PUTMAN, Bernice – age 80 of Lebanon passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was affectionately known as “Bea” to those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Putman was preceded in death by parents, John and Annie Mae Wilson; husband, Curly Putman; son, Greg Putman; grandson, Sean Putman; and brother, Russell Wilson She is survived by son, Troy and daughter-in-law Beth Putman; grandchildren, Gina Putman and Ian and Ryan Putman; brothers, John L. (Odean) Wilson, Jr. and Carl (Georgia) Wilson; sister, Kathleen Wilson Garner; and many loving nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Mrs. Putman was a faithful wife of over 60 years. She was a loving and generous mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

She was a member of College Hills Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service. Dr. Kevin Owen will officiate and interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ian and Ryan Putman, Eric Montgomery, John Bryan, Rick Thorne, and John Mark Sloan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Lowery, Johnny and Patricia Clark, Jim and Donna Adams, Wayne and Linda Johnson, Hulon and Charlotte Watson, Stratton and Marty Bone, the medical staff at Bradshaw Clinic, Dr. Rob Woods, Jim and Faye Agee, Troy Tomlinson, Charlie and Hazel Daniels, Jackie Peters, and Carolyn Killen. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the College Hills Church of Christ Student Ministry.
