Obituary for Bertha “Bert” Chamblee Bertha “Bert” Chamblee went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at age 90. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Riley & Lexie Chamblee; her brothers, Ray Chamblee (Ruby), Carlos Chamblee, and Joe Chamblee (Brenda), twin sister, Dorothy “Dot” Chamblee; sister, Purnie Faucett (Doug); and brother-in-law, George Lowe. She leaves behind her sister, Hyacinth “Cindy” Lowe as well as a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

She was an active member of Bradford Sanctuary of Praise. Bert loved the Lord and served her church, family, and community her whole life. She is loved by all who know her and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Bradford Sanctuary of Praise (Bradford Church of God), 8294 Bradford Rd, Pinson, AL 35126.
