Obituary for Bertha Diaz Cortez Bertha Diaz Cortez passed away May 23, 2018 in Houston, Texas at the age of 92 years. Preceded in death by husband, Guadalupe F. Cortez in San Antonio, Texas. She lived in San Antonio, Texas 54 years.
Survived by sons, Daniel D. Cortez and wife, Maria, Austin Texas; David D. Cortez and wife Carol, Watauga, Texas (Ft. Worth); Daughters, Diana C. and Carlos Mendez, Dallas, Texas; Delma C. and Roger Esparza, Houston, Texas; 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Hernan Diaz, McAllen, Texas and Tony Diaz, Alton, Texas; Sister, Rosalinda D. Ortiz, Austin, Texas.
SERVICES Visitation will be held on June 6, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Brookehill Funeral Home. A procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9:00am, with a 9:30am Funeral Mass at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft.
