Benson, NC: Mrs. Bertha Mae Parker McLamb, age 76, of 2338 NC 50 South died Monday, June 11, 2018 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs.

Randy Beasley and Glenn McCullen. Burial will follow in the Beasley Family Cemetery. Mrs. McLamb was born on October 3, 1941 in Johnston County to the late William “Bill” and Pearline Ryals Parker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ira D. McLamb and sister, Alice Parker Hall. Mrs. McLamb graduated from Meadow High School and worked at Sylvania. She was also a farmer’s wife and enjoyed selling produce with her husband, Ira D. Mrs. McLamb was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson.

Surviving include sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall D. and Cindy McLamb and John Michael and Anjanette McLamb all of Benson; daughter and son-in-law, Joanie M. and Gary Wood, Jr. of Four Oaks; sisters and brother-in-law, Susie P. and Junior Allen of Benson, Edna Stancil of Garner; grandchildren, Heather M. Godwin and husband, James Godwin, Jr., Ethan McLamb and Garah Wood; great-granddaughter, Peyton Godwin; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Transitions Lifecare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
