Betsy’s Obituary BETSY SPENCER, 88 Betsy Spencer of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at Life Care Center in Winter Haven She was born July 4, 1930 in Shoopman, Kentucky to the late Henry C. and Laura (Winchester) Anderson. She came to Lake Wales in 1983 from Toronto and has been a resident of the area since 1996. She was a Clerical Records Clerk for Lake Wales Hospital and a member of Winter Haven Worship Center.

She was a United Church Woman, she was a hospital volunteer in Canada and meals on Wheels in Winter Haven. She is preceded in death by her son William A. “Bill” Spencer, daughter Ann Marie Spencer, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Spencer, daughter Deborah J. Thompson and husband Bill of Ontario, Canada, brother Jim “J.T.” Anderson of Punta Gorda, FL, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial service is scheduled for 2:00PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Lake Howard Heights with Pastor Jason Hughes officiating.
