Bettie Lou Delaney June 25, 1931 – May 09, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Bettie Lou Delaney, 87, of Romney, WV passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. Born on June 25, 1931 in Grafton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arlie Pratt and Sarah Elizabeth Pyles Pratt. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and the Gideon Auxiliary, Hampshire Co. Camp.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Delaney, a daughter, Sharon Kirby, brothers: Howard Pratt, Charles Pratt, Bud Pratt, and sisters: Nellie Cochran, Ruth Bittman, and Wilma Jean Martin. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, John R. Delaney, 2 sons, Robin K. Delaney of Owings, MD, Steven A. Delaney of Augusta, WV, a sister, Anna Mae Liston of Rowlesburg, WV, a brother, Donald Pratt of Thorton, WV, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
