Betty’s Obituary Betty Annette Pope, a resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her home. She was born December 5, 1950 in Frost, LA and was 68 years of age. She was a member of Coyell Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lonnie Pope; 2 daughters, Melissa Duffy and Shelia Granate; 3 sons, Dewayne Hano, Todd Pope, and Bryan Pope; 1 sister, Inell Ashworth; 1 brother, Glenn Watts; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Carew and Verna Watts; son, Calvin Hano; 2 sisters, Ernestine Ashworth and Rita Brown; 2 brothers, Melvin Watts and Joe Ray Watts. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 12 Noon until religious services at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Services conducted by Bro. Paul Taylor. Interment Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite.
