Hillary’s Obituary A resident of Independence, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in his home surrounded by family. He was born November 24, 1932 in St. Helena Parish, LA and was 86 years of age. He was a member of Montpelier Methodist Church.

He was a loving husband ,father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend to many. He loved his family and sharing his crops . He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Majorie Anderson George; 2 daughter Barbara G. Anthony and husband Carl and Karen G. Gullion and husband Scott; 1 sister Allison Singleton; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; Preceded in death by parents Hillary and Maude George; 1 daughter Pam Bennett. Visitation at Montpelier United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019. Interment Killian Chapel Cemetery, Amite, LA.
