Janis’ Obituary Janis Lee Hayden, a resident of Independence, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1947 in Hammond and was 72 years of age. She is survived by her daughter, Marla Davis and husband, Billy; son, Robert Hayden and wife, Brandi; 5 grandchildren, Douglas Davis, Danielle Davis, Darla Davis, Cody Hayden, and Andrea Roper; great-grandson, Tristan Hernandez.

Preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey “Vic” Hayden; and parents, Flavil and Zelma Cutrer Lee. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Services conducted by Bro.
