Betty B. Heigle October 9, 1929 – December 27, 2018 Mrs. Betty B. Heigle, age 89, on Thursday, December 27, 2018, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while surrounded by her loving family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob S. Heigle Sr.; her parents, Anita Bacino, and James Bachemin; son, James H. Heigle; sons-in-law, Louis F. Servary and Jack R. Maignaud; great-grandson, Dacoda Heigle. Betty loved the Lord and her family above all.

Betty is survived by seven children: Elaine, Jacob Jr., William (Chris), Timothy (Reba), Frank, Anita (Billy), and Linda; daughter-in-law, Nora; sisters-in-law, Shirley Heigle Betz, Shirley Heigle and Sandra Heigle. Betty is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Betty was a native of New Orleans and and was an active member of St. Maria Goretti where she was a member of the altar society.

Born: October 9, 1929 Death: December 27, 2018 After Hurricane Katrina she moved to Slidell, Louisiana, and became a member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and the Saint Luke’s Ladies Club. She was a member of AARP chapter 4716 and the Happy Hour Club of Slidell. Her family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, especially Jennifer Yacsko, Kristen Muller, and Trinny Lemoine for their kind and loving care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd. , Slidell Louisiana 70461.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell Louisiana. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s research hospital at www.

stjude.org.
