Obituary for Betty J. Klint Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Friday, December 28, 2018. Age 95 years. Survived by her two cherished daughters Beverly (Robert) Edman and Marlene Borgra.

Five grandchildren Sheri (Alex) Ritchey, Scott (Jennifer) Edman, Brian (Emily) Edman, James (Kim) Borgra and Jamie (Joe Lauro) Borgra. Eight great-grandchildren Rylee, Caden and Piper Ritchey, Mason, Tyson and Griffin Edman, Brooke Borgra, Megan (Larry Rutherford-fiance’) Edman. A great-great-granddaughter Zoey Rutherford.

Special nieces Phyllis Brisbin, Janice (John) Wilson and Barbara (Charles) Smith. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Chief Robert J. Klint, her parents John and Lydia Jensen, brother Roy (Florence) Jensen and three sisters Edna (Harold ) Swain, Bernice Jensen and Frances (Clarence) Hoffman, her great-grandson Preston Borgra and son-in-law Eugene “Speedy” Borgra. Betty graduated from A.O. Marshall Grade School and Joliet Township High School Class of 1940, where she was very active in all the high school musicals and band sponsor.

She enjoyed her flower garden and loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, hospitality was her God given talent. She always looked forward to family gatherings. Betty was a member of Church of The Good Shepherd and served in many capacities.

Betty was loved and cherished by her family and friends, she will be missed. Memorial services will be held at Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd. , Friday, January 4th at 3:00 P.M. Rev.

Jake Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to Church of the Good Shepherd will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
