Betty’s Obituary Betty led a full, energetic, and happy life. She passed away on Monday, peacefully in Hospice care at Francis House in Syracuse. Her working life involved being an Office Manager for Maloney & Fletcher Insurance Co., in Syracuse.

Betty enjoyed golf, bowling, painting, crafts, fishing and hiking. She was a seasoned traveler throughout the US, as well as Canada and England. She was a member of the Syracuse Insurance Women’s Association and a member of the Liverpool Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Liverpool. Betty was pre-deceased by first husband Fred Kuepper, Sr. in Liverpool in1987, and remarried to John Donohue on February 23, 2002, to reside in Baldwinsville. She was also, predeceased by her brothers Chuck (Sandy) Bristol and Eugene (Roxy) Bristol and countless aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Betty leaves behind her loving husband John Donohue, son and daughter Fred (Kathy) Kuepper, daughters-in-law MaryBeth (Keith Kobland) Donohue, Susan (Chris Carroll) Donohue, sons-in-law Brian (Lynn) Donohue, Don Donohue and Michael Donohue, along with 5 Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second Street in Liverpool. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 am at St. Joseph’s the Worker Church, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool with The Rite of Committal and Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
