Obituary for Betty J. (Taylor) Bryson Betty J. (Taylor) Bryson, 96, of Danville, WV passed away on December 26, 2018 at Meadow Brook Assisted Living, Julian, WV. Betty was born November 20, 1922, in Graham, OK daughter of George R. and Corna M. (Hartwell) Taylor. Betty graduated from Scott High School in 1941 and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy.

She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Charleston, and a master’s degree from West Virginia University. She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, and Rebekah Lodge. She was also a member of Bible Baptist Church, Danville, WV.

She is survived by her son, Ronald of Midlothian, VA, grandson Justin, and three great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Meadow Brook Assisted Living and Kanawha Hospice for their care. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial donation to Kanawha Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3 at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Betty J. (Taylor) Bryson please visit our Sympathy Store.
