Betty Jane Allison, 83, Clymer, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of John and Carrie Belle (Statum) Steinman Sr., she was born July 24, 1935 in Brush Valley, PA. Betty was a member of the Faith Victory Temple.

Her interests included sewing, crafts, cooking, baking and collecting photographs. Surviving are her children, Sarah Conti, Petersburg, OH, Theresa Havekost, Quitman, TX, William (Daureen) Allison, Punxsutawney, Norma Jean Allison, Clymer, Norman Allison, Arkansas, Betty Ann (Rich) Watson, Indiana, David Allison and his patrner Nancy Boyer, Dayton, Rick (Kathy) Allison, Clymer, and Brian Allison, Culloden, WV; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous niece and nephews. Preceding Betty in death were her parents; husband, William J. Allison Sr.; brothers, John, Jake and Herman; and sisters, Ann, Margaret, Emily, Katherine; grandchildren, Ashton Allison, James and Kevin Gadley; and a son-in-law, John Havekost.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Friday morning, 11 am, in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Bob White, officiating.
