Obituary for Betty Jane Holland Betty Jane (Bennett) Holland, 92 year old resident of Highfill, Arkansas, died on October 21, 2018 in Siloam Springs. Betty was born December 22, 1925 in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Clarence J. Bennett and Agnes (Lynch) Bennett. Betty attended numerous public schools because her parents moved several times due to work.

She graduated from Gentry Public High School. She married Clark Holland before he left to serve his country during World War II. After Clark returned from Europe, his injuries resulted in him being paralyzed and bedfast for 30 years.

During that time, Betty raised their 3 children and devoted her life to caring for Clark. After Clark’s passing, Betty attended John Brown University and proudly graduated with a degree in Food Sciences at the age of 58. One of Betty’s favorite passions was to bake banana nut bread and give it to family, friends, and anyone that came to her door.

She was a mother or grandmother to nearly anyone she met; always having a smile and good advice. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Agnes Bennett; her husband, Clark Holland; two daughters, Caroline and Phil Bramlett, and Charlotte and Jerry Harwell; a sister, Billie Joe; and two brothers, Bobby and Jack. Betty is survived by one brother, Jim Bennett and wife Linda of Roland, Oklahoma; one son, Roger Holland and wife Tami of North Platte, Nebraska; grandchildren: Ryan and Sara Holland, Eric and Amy Holland, Pam and Ike Eichenlaub, Stacie and David Williamson, Lee and Tamela Bramlett, Michelle and David Worley, and Stephanie Roberts; and numerous beloved great and great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Highfill United Methodist Church, in Highfill, Arkansas, with Rev. Bill Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Arkansas.
